죽전중앙공원은 휴게공간, 운동공간, 놀이마당, 바닥분수, 잔디광장 등으로 조성되어 있다. 여름에는 바닥분수를 운영해 아이들이 시원하게 뛰어놀기 안성맞춤이다. 곳곳에 운동기구도 설치되어 있어 체력단련을 해도 좋고, 벤치에 앉아 공원의 풍경을 감상해도 좋은 곳이다. 죽전중앙공원에서는 선사시대부터 조선시대까지 이 지역의 역사를 엿볼 수 있다. 이곳은 죽전택지개발지구 조성 당시 발굴된 유물과 유적들을 복원하여 공원 내에 전시하고 있다.
