[The Myth of the Golden Crow of Bongmanmi] Geumosan is a myth. It represents a three-legged crow living in the sun, spreading its golden wings. It was probably sunset, and the observer was likely in the east. The namer was probably a Goguryeo person, likely Ado of Dorisa across the Nakdong River. The mountain adorned with myth has a fitting grandeur. The unmatched presence of Bongman rises as if lifting a heavenly curtain, and a waterfall is placed in the rocky valley to prevent intrusion. The 2.5 km valley water stays in Daehyedam before falling at Myeonggeum Waterfall. Utilizing this, people built a fortress... It is the first provincial park where outstanding nature and human creation harmonize. Sangbong Hyunwolbong and the adjacent Yaksabong (958m), and Bobong (933m), known as Dragon Scale Rock, all exceed 900 meters. Next to the South Gate is Nambong (873m), and across Hyunwolbong is Seobong (851m), enclosing the fortress within a 2 km circumference. Geumodongcheon is a playground for scholars. Rock streams and ponds spread among the strange rocks. From the bottom are Beoksiso, Yongsiso, Gushiso... finally, Seonnyeotang swirls at the end of a 12m wide waterfall.
