Hanseong Restaurant, famous for its clam porridge, is a hidden gem in Baeksu-eup, Yeonggwang-gun, known for being difficult to taste without a reservation. The old sign, vintage TV, and aged wallpaper and furniture evoke a long tradition. The interior is small, with about 10 floor-seating tables. The most famous menu item, clam porridge, can only be ordered by reservation. It is filled with large clams, so much that just one clam is enough to feel full. The broth is made flavorful with the umami of the clams, clear and refreshing, making it perfect as a hangover cure. ※ No pets allowed.
