This is the place where the poignant lives of refugees began and currently houses the cultural village community Huinyeoul Cultural Village, working together with local residents. The Huinyeoul-gil, a representative old town path of Busan, is named because the several streams flowing from the foothills of Bongrae Mountain to the sea resemble the fast current of white snow falling. It is also famous as a filming location for numerous dramas and movies such as "The Attorney," "Nameless Gangster," and "Take Off." In December 2011, public and abandoned houses were remodeled, transforming the area into a unique cultural and artistic village where one can experience the life of Yeongdo.
