Yeongdeok Market started over 70 years ago as a place where people gathered to trade goods, moving through several locations before settling in its current place. It is a traditional market where history and tradition live on, blending culture and tourism. The market is held on the 4th and 9th of every month. It is lined with local specialties such as Yeongdeok snow crab, miju-gurihoe (raw fish dish), peaches, as well as agricultural, livestock, and marine products. In spring, mountain vegetables are sold actively, and in summer, Yeongdeok peaches are in full sale. The market is also known for its abundant marine products, allowing the purchase of fresh seafood including live fish throughout the four seasons. Nearby are Goraebul Beach and Daejin Beach, making it a great area for tourism.
