The Gyeongwon Line is a railway that starts from Seoul, passes through Dongducheon, Yeoncheon, and Cheorwon, and heads towards Wonsan in North Korea. Yeoncheon has seven Gyeongwon Line train stations: Choseong-ri, Hantangang, Jeongok, Yeoncheon, Sinmang-ri, Daegwang-ri, and Sintan-ri, making it ideal for creating various train travel courses. Starting from the Yeoncheon Station water tower, designated as a registered cultural heritage, the route includes Taepoong Observation Deck, which offers great views of the northern land, and Aesim Ranch, where visitors can enjoy an exciting dairy farming experience. This course allows travelers to enjoy trains, security, and hands-on activities all at once.

The Yeoncheon Station Water Tower is a railway water tower built in 1919 at a midpoint between Incheon and Wonsan, used to supply water to steam locomotives. Steam locomotives and water towers first appeared with the opening of the Gyeongin Line between Seoul and Incheon in September 1899, serving as transportation means but disappeared with the advent of diesel locomotives in the 1950s. All historical facilities built in Yeoncheon during the Japanese colonial period were destroyed by bombing during the Korean War, but only the water tower remains well preserved in its original form. At the time of construction, during the water supply to the tender (炭水車) attached behind the locomotive, active trade took place, functioning somewhat like a marketplace. Until before the Korean War, this area was the southernmost region of North Korea, and a large amount of North Korean military supplies were unloaded via the Gyeongwon Line. Because of this, the white water tower served as a coordinate for intense air raids by U.S. forces, and shell marks are still clearly visible on the building. The Yeoncheon Station Water Tower, along with the water towers at Dogye Station in Gangwon-do, Chupungnyeong Station, Yeonsan Station in Chungnam, Andong Station in Gyeongbuk, Yeongcheon Station, and Samrangjin Station in Gyeongnam, is recognized as a significant heritage for understanding railway history and modern transportation research, designated as a national registered cultural heritage.
Located north of Yeoncheon County Office, Aesim Farm is situated at the northernmost part of Gyeonggi-do, offering a pure rural atmosphere where visitors can experience dairy farming. Also known as Love Farm, it is a cooperative of nearby dairy farms forming Aesimtteul Agricultural Cooperative, combining agricultural education, experiential learning, and dairy processing. Visitors can interact with dairy cows at a typical scale farm similar to the national average, making it a popular place. Facilities include a Milk School (education center), outdoor experience area, dairy cow farm, three lodging buildings, and a seminar room. The farm sells milk, yogurt, and cheeses certified as eco-friendly (antibiotic-free livestock products) farm produce. There are three experience programs: dairy farming experience, cooking classes, and souvenir making. Dairy farming experience operates April through December and includes learning about a cow’s life via video, feeding adult cows, bottle-feeding calves, observing goats, and making ice cream. Cooking classes allow visitors to make and eat cheese, pizza, sausages, and more. Various souvenir-making activities suitable for group visitors are also available. Reservations are required and made through Naver. Upon visit, the experience fee is paid based on the number of reserved participants before the program starts. It takes about 30 minutes by car from Eunhyeon IC. Nearby attractions include Hantangang Recreation Area, Hantangang Tourist Auto Camping Site, Yeoncheon Jeongok-ri Site, Jeongok Prehistoric Museum, Jaein Waterfall, Pocheon Sinbuk Resort Springpole Hot Springs, and Pocheon Herb Island.
