This building is related to Kwon Won-ha (權元河), a representative independence activist of the Yecheon area during the Japanese colonial period. Byeongamjeong is a paljakgiwa-roofed house with 5 kan in front and 2 kan on the side, situated on a large rock resembling a folding screen east of the pavilion. Notably, Byeongamjeong preserves the structural style and floor plan typical of the late 19th century and has location conditions suitable for pavilion architecture. It also features traditional landscaping elements such as rocks, a pond, and a rock mountain, making it an important resource for landscaping history research. The byeolmyo (separate shrine) to the right of the pavilion is a 3-kan matbaegi-roofed house. It was originally the shrine of Insan Seowon (仁山書院), but when the seowon was demolished, only the shrine was relocated here and is used as a byeolmyo to enshrine Kwon Maeng-son (權孟孫), Kwon O-gi (權五紀), Kwon O-bok (權五福), and Kwon Yong (權墉).

삼강주막은 삼강나루의 나들이객에게 허기를 면하게 해주고 보부상들의 숙식처로, 때론 시인묵객들의 유상처로 이용된 건물이다. 1900년경에 지은 이 주막은 규모는 작지만 그 기능에 충실한 집약적 평면구성의 특징을 보여주고 있어 건축역사 자료로서 희소가치가 클 뿐만 아니라 옛 시대상을 읽을 수 있는 지역의 역사와 문화적 의의를 간직하고 있다. 그러나 안타깝게도 유구한 역사와 함께한 유옥연 주모할머니가 지난 2006년 세상을 떠나면서 그대로 방치되고 있다가 2007년도에 1억 5천만 원의 예산으로 옛 모습 그대로 복원되어 새로운 주모와 함께 나들이객들을 맞이하게 되었다.
