Hajodae Unmanned Lighthouse is a place visited by many tourists to see the beautiful sunrise and offers a panoramic view of the wide East Sea. It is located with old pine trees on a towering rocky cliff by the coast. The name Hajodae comes from the surnames of Ha Ryun and Jo Jun, founding officials of the Joseon Dynasty, who briefly stayed here. This site is also famous as a filming location for Taejo Wang Geon. Descending from Hajodae Pavilion and walking along the rocky cliffs, visitors will find a white lighthouse. Many tourists come to see the lighthouse light shining over the sea at sunset and night. Nearby attractions like Hajodae Beach and Hajodae Skywalk make it a great place to visit together.
Jukdojeong Pavilion, the 6th of Yangyang's 10 scenic spots, is located just a 1-minute drive from Jukdo Beach and is a must-visit course for those who come to enjoy surfing. The pavilion at the top was built in 1965 with administrative support from wealthy residents of Hyeonnam-myeon and features an octagonal structure with three rooms on the front and two on the side. There is also a walking path around the island, where visitors can enjoy forest bathing while viewing the coastal scenery. The height is relatively low, allowing for a light stroll. On the way up to Jukdojeong, there are dozens of steps, but fortunately, there is a resting area in the middle to take a break, offering a perfect spot to rest while taking photos with a full view of the sea. A little further up from Jukdojeong is the white Jukdo Observatory, which features a spiral staircase that ascends to the top.

A cozy fishing village located in Yangyang, surrounding Namae Port, one of Gangwon's three famous scenic harbors. Adjacent to National Road 7, it is well known as a center for seafood production due to smooth direct seafood transport. The village, where mountains and sea harmonize, attracts many tourists who come to see the beautiful sunrise over the East Sea. The sunrise rising between the fishing boats docked at the harbor and those hurrying home offers a spectacular view and it is one of the best places to experience a sunrise at sea. It is also a filming location for nostalgic movies and dramas such as Whale Hunting, Hotelier, and That Woman. Supported by the Korea Fisheries Infrastructure Public Corporation as a fishing village experience and rest village, it is located near the sea, offering beautiful ocean scenery and various fishing village experiences and seafood delicacies. Visitors can enjoy boat fishing, fixed net fishing, tasting catches, auction experiences, octopus trap fishing, squid sundae making, barefoot fish catching at the beach, and mussel necklace crafting. Programs may change depending on the season and village circumstances; prior inquiry and reservation are required before visiting.
Located at the boundary with Gangneung City, with nearby Namae Port where fresh seafood and sashimi can be enjoyed. Behind the beach is a dense pine forest, and the white sandy shore is wide and clean. It is the southernmost beach in the Seorak area, situated south of Yangyang-gun, and is a seasonal beach temporarily operated and open by Jigyeong-ri village only in summer. The greatest advantage of Jigyeong-ri Beach is the approximately 30,000-pyeong dense pine forest behind the beach where tents can be pitched for camping. Parasols are unnecessary on the beach. Unlike other temporary beaches, it has enough bungalow facilities, making it popular for group training and similar activities. The coastline stretches about 700m, and the water depth is shallow at about 1m. Every summer, corporate group training sessions continue without interruption.
