Seokguralam, located on the mid-slope of Gwaneumbong, southwest of the five peaks (Obong), is surrounded by Dobong above and Samgaksan below. The mountain's shape is grand and outstanding, resembling multiple stars gathering around and supporting the North Star. The water is clear and the valleys deep, making it an ideal temple for practitioners. Obongsan Seokguralam was founded by Uisang Daesa during King Munmu of Silla's reign. It is said that Naong Hwasang, the royal teacher during King Gongmin of Goryeo's era, practiced asceticism here for three years. Numerous eminent monks continuously resided here, maintaining the Zen lineage, but all buildings were destroyed during the Korean War (6·25). Restoration began in 1954 by Choan 큰스님 (Choan Keunseunim), leading to the current temple complex.

Shinheung Leisure Town is a complex leisure town located near Jangheung Tourist Area. Depending on the season, it operates Picnic World, Water World, and Snow World, making it a family outing destination for infants, youth group picnics, water play, and sledding. It features a swimming pool & sledding area where cooking is allowed, so visitors can grill meat while enjoying water activities and sledding. Water World rents various types of cabanas, and Snow World rents flat benches and parasol-type seats; except for parasols, cabanas and benches each have power outlets. Water World, which operates only in summer, is known for its clean water, with about 400 cabana seats available. Snow World, operating only in winter, offers sledding on snow and ice, and ice fishing on frozen surfaces. Visitors can relax and warm up at indoor benches and parasol areas while fully enjoying winter. It is about a 6-minute drive from Songchu IC. Nearby attractions include Jangheung Amusement Park, World Cultural Heritage Onneung, Ghana Art Park, Philux Lighting Museum, Hoeamsaji, Bukhansan National Park, and the National ASEAN Natural Recreation Forest.

Gana Art Park originated from Total Museum, Korea's first private art museum established in 1984, and was established in 2005 by being acquired by the parent company Gana Art Center, focusing on a sculpture park. Since then, Gana Art Park opened a museum (designed by Uchida Shigeru) and a performance hall (designed by Ban Shigeru), a children's experience center, and Gana Atelier No. 1 (designed by Jean Michel Wilmotte) in 2006. In 2007, Blue, Red, and Yellow Spaces were newly built and opened, followed by the opening of Gana Atelier No. 2 in 2008. In 2013, Gana Art Park Museum was transformed into 'Gana Children's Museum,' and Blue Space became Korea's first 'Picasso Children's Museum,' positioning Gana Art Park as a complex art space embracing all age groups including children. In 2016, Gana Art Park celebrated its 10th anniversary by operating the art academy 'Nunkopip Museum' and 'Curious Museum Exploration,' and the 'I am also an artist' program participated in by resident artists of Gana Atelier was held in the experience workshop. Gana Art Park aims to realize an 'art complex space where humans, nature, and art coexist' by providing better creative spaces and exhibition opportunities for emerging, mid-career, and veteran artists, and embracing diverse art genres including visual arts for the public.
