The Seuldo Coastal Trail is a seaside path continuing along the coastline from Seuldo, named because the sound of a geomungo (Korean zither) is said to be heard when sea breezes and waves hit the rocks, to Daewangam Park. The trail features a cobble beach and observatories, making it an excellent coastal walk accompanied by the open East Sea and refreshing sound of waves. Healing resting spots are available along the way, making it easy to take breaks. In spring, canola flowers, the sea, and stone walls together give a feeling reminiscent of Jeju Island. Seuldo Marine Small Park has an 43m-long scenic bridge and an 11m-high whale sculpture representing a mother whale carrying a baby whale. At the scenic bridge entrance connecting the mainland to Seuldo, there is also a water-friendly area with stairs leading down to the beach. The trekking time for the Seuldo Coastal Trail is about 40 minutes.
Seongkkeut Village is a small settlement located on a low hill between Ulsan Bangeojin Port and Seuldo Port. Along the narrow alleys, village walls are painted in pastel tones and adorned with murals, creating a bright and cozy atmosphere overall. Although an old village, it was selected in 2012 as a site for a project to create beautiful and distinctive village streets, resulting in mural alleys and walking trails. Through several restorations and the cooperation of local artists and residents, it has taken its present form. Residents willingly offered their own house walls for the mural village project, and as a result, various murals, including Ulsan's symbol, the whale, decorate many parts of the village. Following the village alleys uphill, a viewpoint appears with a panoramic view of the sea in front of Seuldo. Against the backdrop of the blue sea, peaceful rural scenery and fields spread out, and there are small cafes and restaurants in the village where visitors can rest while enjoying the murals. In spring, yellow canola flowers bloom in abundance on the nearby coastal hills, and from May to July, white Shasta daisy clusters beautifully bloom along Seongkkeut Village alleys, especially on Seongkkeut 4-gil, offering a distinct charm each season.
