울산쇠부리축제는 국내 유일무이 철문화축제이다. 달천철장은 원삼한 시대부터 근·현대에 이르기까지 양질의 철을 생산하던 우리나라 최초의 철산지이며, 오늘날 세계적인 산업도시 울산을 잉태시킨 이천년 철의 역사가 숨쉬는 곳이다. 울산쇠부리축제는 울산의 산업의 역사와 전통제철문화를 계승하고 발전시키고자 지난 2005년부터 매년 5월 개최되는 가장 울산다운 축제이다.
