Among the Taean Coastal Roads, the Taean Sunset Road is the most popular. It is a coastal path starting from Baeksajang Port and leading to Ggotji Beach, running from the north to the south of Anmyeondo Island. Walk along the beach path filled with Anmyeon pine trees, with the West Sea on your right. Starting from Baeksajang Port, you will pass Sambong Beach noted for its three impressive peaks, a dense Gomsol pine forest, and then reach Gijipo Beach. Gijipo, with the most diverse trails on the Sunset Road, features coastal dunes and a visitor support center. Wooden decks are installed for easy access by wheelchairs and strollers, earning it the nickname Angel Road. Passing Changjeonggyo Bridge and heading up, you arrive at Duyeo Observatory, the best viewpoint on the Sunset Road, offering refreshing views of unique folds and the open distant sea. Near Bangpo Port is a natural monument, a large population of Mogamjunamu trees, and Bangpo Observatory, where Ggotji Beach can be seen. The last section of the Sunset Road, Ggotji Beach, is famous for its beautiful West Coast sunset.
