XR버스 1795행은 XR(eXtended Reality, 확장현실) 기술을 적용한 특별한 체험형 버스이다. 버스의 창문에는 투명 디스플레이 T-OLED(Transparent OLED)가 설치되어 있으며, ‘MEMORY OF 1795: 기록에서 기억으로’라는 주제의 영상이 표출된다. 이 체험은 1795년 조선의 마지막 위대한 군주, 22대 정조의 ‘을묘원행’을 현대적으로 복원한 것이다. 정조는 어머니 혜경궁 홍 씨와 아버지 사도세자를 기리고, 나라와 백성을 위한 군주의 길을 걷고자 이 여정을 시작하였다. 조선 역사상 가장 장엄했던 행차인 ‘을묘원행’의 감동을 XR 기술을 통해 생생하게 전달하고자 한다. XR버스 1795행은 45인승 대형 버스를 개조하여 제작한 것이며, 한 회당 18명만 탑승할 수 있어 오직 수원에서만 경험할 수 있는 특별하고 이색적인 체험이다.
