This urban park, embracing the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, has proudly displayed its elegant atmosphere for many years. Created in 1978, it extends along the fortress walls from Janganmun to Hwaseomun and is well landscaped, allowing visitors to enjoy old trees and a variety of flowers. There is a path where the Suwon Hwaseong tourist train, 'Eocha,' runs, and a walking trail along the fortress walls. You can also see the Treasure-designated Seobuk Gongshimdon and Hwaseomun, Hwaseong Eocha, metal Sotdae artwork, walking paths, Hwaseong restoration monument, Hwaseong miracle monument, a Gyeonggi-do tourist information center, and a public restroom that won a special award at the 1999 Gyeonggi Province Beautiful Restroom Contest.
