This is a hidden rapeseed flower spot in Daegu that is not widely known to tourists. It is a familiar space where citizens usually enjoy walking or cycling along the Geumho Riverside. In May, slightly later than other areas, yellow rapeseed flowers bloom all over Palhyeon Ecological Park. The sweet fragrance unique to rapeseed flowers fully immerses visitors in the spring ambiance. Recently, variously colored chrysanthemums have been planted throughout the park to allow visitors to enjoy beautiful scenery in the fall as well. At the beginning of the year, the park also hosts the Jeongwol Daeboreum Daljip burning event. This event, which has continued for over 20 years, lights up the winter night spectacularly by burning a giant Daljip along with papers on which residents have written their wishes.
