Gwiraejeong is a pavilion located in Sunchang-gun, Jeonbukteukbyeoljachi-do. The name Gwiraejeong comes from the pen name of Shin Mal-ju. On the pavilion, there are plaques engraved with Gwiraejeonggi and poetry by Kang Hui-maeng. Gwiraejeong is said to have been built in 1457 (2nd year of King Sejo) by Shin Mal-ju, but the current building was rebuilt in 1974 with a front of 3 kan, side of 2 kan, and a hip-and-gable roof. Nearby attractions include Gangcheonsan County Park, National Hoemunsan Natural Recreation Forest, and the Seolssi Lady Shin Kyung-jun Memorial Site.

봄이면 자줏빛 꽃잔디가 하천변 제방을 따라 길게 뒤덮고, 그 사이로 노란 수선화와 튤립이 어우러져 2km의 꽃 융단이 펼쳐진다. 순창 양지천 꽃잔디길은 순창읍 중심부를 가로지르는 양지천 1.4km 구간에 약 70만 본의 봄꽃을 식재해 조성한 수변 산책로로, 순창군 경천·양지천 수변 종합개발사업의 핵심 공간이다. 왕복 약 2.8km의 완만한 코스로 남녀노소 부담 없이 걸을 수 있으며, 입장료 없이 24시간 상시 개방된다. 천연기념물이자 멸종위기종인 수달이 서식하는 청정 생태 하천을 따라 조성된 것도 이 공간만의 특별한 가치다. 가을에는 황화코스모스와 금빛 강변이 어우러져 사계절 내내 다른 얼굴을 보여준다. 매년 봄 양지천 일원에서 순창 참두릅 여행 축제도 열린다.

Sunchang Hyanggyo, designated as Cultural Heritage No. 68 of Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, preserves the architectural style of hyanggyo from the early Joseon period. Although the exact date of establishment is unknown, it is estimated to have been built during the reign of Seongjong (1469–1494). It originated in Gokcheon-dong during the reign of Goryeo's King Gongyang by Governor Choi Jabi and was relocated to its current location in Okcheon-dong in 1489 by County Magistrate Kim Sugwang under the direction of Mongam Lee Sookgam. Existing structures include Daeseongjeon, Dongmu, Seomu, Myeongnyundang, Dongjae, Seojae, Naesammun, and Oesammun. Daeseongjeon measures three kan in front and three kan in side, while Myeongnyundang is seven kan by two kan. Daeseongjeon enshrines the Five Stars and Ten Philosophers of China, six ancient sages of the Song Dynasty, and 18 sages of Korea. On the 1st and 15th of each lunar month, Sagnam bunhyang rites are held, and in spring and autumn, the Seokjeon festival is conducted.

순창의 전통주를 체험할 수 있는 순창 지란지교는 전통주가 만들어지는 과정을 구경하고 막걸리를 직접 만드는 체험을 할 수 있는 곳이다. 지란지교 대표님이 막걸리 만드는 과정을 친절하게 알려주시기 때문에 체험은 어렵지 않고 미리 준비되어 있는 누룩과 고두밥에 물을 넣고 비비는 재미가 있다. 열심히 비빈 누룩과 고두밥을 용기에 담아 집으로 가져가서 30일간 발효시키면 막걸리가 완성되어 직접 막걸리를 만들어 보는 뿌듯함을 느낄 수 있다. 또한 체험 후 간식과 함께 전통주 시음이 가능하고 체험장에서 여러 메뉴를 판매하고 있어 정성이 가득 담긴 막걸리를 구매해 여행의 특별함을 더할 수 있다.

The Sunhwari Three-Story Stone Pagoda is a three-tiered pagoda located on the grounds of Sunchang Girls' Middle School and was built during the Goryeo period. Since the pagoda enshrines Buddhist relics (buddha bone), it holds the same religious significance as a Buddha statue housed in a temple hall. Accordingly, it is typically located in front of the temple's main hall. Judging from the current form of the Sunhwari Three-Story Stone Pagoda, there was a sizable temple here during the Goryeo era, and this pagoda was affiliated with that temple, whose name is said to be Okcheonsa (玉泉寺). The overall shape and pillars reflect the Baekje style from the Three Kingdoms period, which ruled the Sunchang region, while upper parts show the style of late Silla. Considering these points, it is believed that this pagoda was constructed in the early Goryeo period with regional characteristics. Though it appears modest externally, some parts are buried underground, indicating it was quite large. The temple where the pagoda stood was also considerable in size. Recognized for its value, it was designated as a Jeollabuk-do Tangible Cultural Property in 1973. Nearby are Sunchang Hyanggyo, Sunchang Guesthouse, and Sunchang Market, which can be visited together.

Silsangam is a temple located in Sunchang-eup. It was founded in 1936 by I Gahwa and Monk Ju Undae, who lived in Sunhwa-ri, Sunchang-eup. When the bright morning sun rises, auspicious light shines directly from the Sunhwa-ri Three-Story Stone Pagoda at Sunchang Girls’ Middle School to this place, which is why it was named 'Silsangam.' After its founding, a statue of Avalokitesvara was enshrined in 1938, and in 1972 Monk Sangho Lee rebuilt the Daeungjeon Hall. Within the temple grounds are the Daeungjeon Hall, two monk's quarters, a stone pagoda, and the statue of Avalokitesvara.
