'속초 바다향기로'는 속초해수욕장에서 외옹항까지 이어지는 코스로, 속초지역에서는 유일하게 장승을 볼 수 있는 곳이다.

Namae Port is the largest port in Yangyang, Gangwon-do, and is one of the eight scenic spots of Yangyang. Along with Gangneung Simgok Port and Samcheok Chogok Port, it is counted as one of Gangwon-do’s three beautiful ports. True to its reputation, the port with moored fishing boats, a red and white lighthouse, and the breakwater creates a charming fishing village atmosphere. The sunrise over the port is beautiful, making it famous as a sunrise viewing spot. Another attraction of Namae Port is the Namae Port Skywalk Observatory. Standing at the skywalk near the breakwater entrance, visitors can take in the refreshing view of the port area and the East Sea at a glance. The location of the skywalk was once called Yangyado during the Joseon Dynasty and was the site of the island’s beacon fire station. Namae Port’s fishing village, Namae Fishing Village Experience, offers year-round fishing boat experiences for tourists. In addition, visitors can enjoy various activities such as bare-handed fish catching, rock crab catching, and making squid sundae. The main fish species caught at Namae Port are squid, flounder, and flatfish. Along the port, many sashimi restaurants gather, allowing visitors to enjoy fresh fish caught in the East Sea.

'오죽헌'은 조선시대의 대학자 율곡 이이와 관련하여 유명해진 강릉 지역의 대표적인 유적지이다. 오죽헌은 조선 초기의 건축물로, 건축사적인 면에서 중요성을 인정받아 1963년 보물 제165호로 지정됐다.

Gangwon-do is the only divided province of the world, the waist of the division. The coastal central city of Gangneung, Aninjinn and Jeongdongjin, are sites of national division and carry the sorrow of war. It is where the North Korean army first invaded on June 25, 1950, and where a North Korean submarine infiltrated on September 18, 1996, shocking the whole nation. Bearing the pain of the Korean War, the September 18 North Korean submarine, and armed guerrilla infiltrations, Gangneung Unification Park was established as a large-scale exhibition park displaying military equipment in one place to emphasize the importance of national security and promote security awareness while hoping for peaceful unification. However, in October 2021, the decommissioned ship 'Jeonbuk-ham' exhibited at the naval exhibition hall was dismantled due to aging facilities and safety concerns, disappearing into history. Also, from around March 2024, the North Korean submarine is scheduled to be moved to the Navy 1st Fleet Command.
