Maengsan Environmental Ecology Learning Center is a place where children, teenagers, and adults come together to experience and learn about nature in an artificially created wetland where fireflies can live and a well-preserved forest ecosystem. It is an ecological experience center that fosters shared values, provides an environment to enjoy within urban life, encourages creative and free artistic activities, and offers opportunities to experience and understand nature while learning cooperation and consideration through community experiences.

Maengsan Firefly Nature School is located in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and provides a space to experience nature. Through parent-child nature experiences, it awakens ecological sensitivity and allows for lifestyle and cultural community activities based on the importance of the local environment and the formation of healthy family communities. It consists of a wetland where various aquatic creatures can be observed in a shallow pond, a firefly conservation and restoration area created for healthy ecosystem recovery, a learning center offering environmental education using natural materials to gain knowledge about nature, and hiking trails.

Sanghee Park is a neighborhood park located in Yatap 3-dong, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. It features a central plaza, children's playground, walking paths, and exercise facilities. The park was created in 1995 to honor the spirit of sacrifice of Air Force Captain Lee Sang-hee, who crashed his fighter jet during a flight training in Gwangju Metropolitan City in 1992 to avoid populated areas. Captain Lee Sang-hee was a native of this area. Surrounded by apartments, houses, villas, and officetels, the park is frequently used by local residents. Nearby facilities include the Seongnam Senior Industry Innovation Center, YWCA Eunhak House, and Seongnam Customs, attracting many office workers.
