📍 Gyeonggi-do Seongnam-si Sujeong-gu Oyanam-ro 38beon-gil 10 (Oyadong)
The Saesori Mulsori building is largely composed of the main building and an annex. The main building, a tiled-roof house, was personally built by the owner's great-grandfather. There is a mountain behind and a stream in front. The house faces south and has a pond beside it, chosen according to feng shui principles. It was completed in 1923 after about three years of construction, featuring a wide eave typical of Joseon hanok. It was designated as a Gyeonggi-do cultural asset in 2024. Around the hanok are a 300-year-old zelkova tree designated as a protected tree by Seongnam city, an octagonal pavilion, a pond, and a well. There are also many old fruit trees such as persimmon, chestnut, cherry, jujube, and plum trees, offering a rustic countryside atmosphere closest to Gangnam. Saesori Mulsori’s signature tea, the representative tea, is a superb harmony of the sweetness of jujube and the bittersweet taste of Ssanghwa. Additionally, you can enjoy various traditional teas such as jujube tea, boiled for 6 hours with hand-mashed jujube flesh, and Ssanghwa tea, carefully brewed for 7 hours using nine kinds of medicinal herbs from direct sources. The finest red beans are boiled for 4 hours and made into sweet red bean porridge with domestic rice flour, and you can also taste red bean shaved ice with premium red bean paste that preserves whole red beans.
