Introduction

星州（ソンジュ）伝統市場では、マクワウリをはじめ地元の特産品が特に多く販売されています。1800年代に形成された星州伝統市場は、1887年にはすでに定期的に開かれるようになり、1960年代に最も栄えた由緒ある市場です。早朝から夕方まで開かれ、季節によってタラの芽やシラヤマギクなどの山菜、糖度が高いことで全国的に知られる星州マクワウリなど、様々な農産物を安く安心して購入できます。
