Hwasun Golden Sand Beach is surrounded by beautiful nature. It is close to Sanbangsan Mountain and the Yongmeori Coastline, and the islands of Hyeongjedo, Marado, and Gapado are off the coast to the southwest. On one side of the beach is a fresh water spring where people can enjoy a freshwater bath.
The beach is located in Hwasun-ri in Andeok-myeon, which is easily accessible and has accommodations, shops, and restaurants.
Hwasun Geummorae Beach is a black sand beach surrounded by exceptional natural conditions. Next to the beach is the expansive white sandy shore of Sogeummak Beach, backed by Sanbangsan Mountain, with Gapado, Marado, and Hyeongjesom Islands spread out ahead, evoking the image of an Oriental landscape painting. The sand of the beach is black, soft, and fine. In summer, an outdoor swimming pool is installed nearby, allowing visitors to enjoy both seawater and freshwater bathing simultaneously. The outdoor pool uses spring water that maintains a low temperature year-round, making the water very cool, and includes water slides and other equipment for children to enjoy. Located in Hwasun-ri, Andeok-myeon, the area offers abundant convenient facilities such as transportation, lodging, shops, and restaurants.

Wollabong is an oreum (volcanic cone) in Gamsan-ri village, Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo-si. Its shape resembles a rising moon, which is how it got its name. It is also called Daraeoreum because many wild kiwi vines grow there. The oreum consists of two horseshoe-shaped craters open to the northeast and southwest. There is a well-maintained trail around the southwestern slope that leads to the summit and back down. Although the oreum's elevation is relatively low, it covers a large area spanning between Hwasun-ri and Daepyeong-ri, so it takes about an hour to reach the summit, making it accessible even for beginners. From the summit, visitors can view Mt. Sanbangsan, Hwasun offshore, and Hyeongje Islands along the Seogwipo coast. To the west is Hwasun Port, to the east are Gunsan and Daepyeong villages, the southern cliff by Jusangjeolli Coast includes Parksugijeong, a famous sunset spot, and to the north is Andeok Valley, a scenic area with perennial flowing water. Wollabong, a parasitic volcano, carries romantic connotations but also a painful historical legacy. Slightly below the summit, several military caves can be found; these caves served as the last lines of defense against U.S. forces landing at Hwasun Port during the Japanese occupation. Thus, Wollabong is a dark tourism historical site where visitors can explore both the climb and the military caves. Nearly 80 years after the end of the Pacific War, seven Japanese military caves have been identified here. They are particularly deep, round-shaped, and well-preserved amid dense vegetation compared to others. Along the trail, informational signs are placed. Although the round-trip is not short, the wooden decks, wooden stairs, and vegetation mats create a pleasant walking path. The initial stairs may feel tedious, but with views of Mt. Sanbangsan mid-way, reaching the summit and exploring the caves completes the Wollabong experience. The towering rock mountain at Wollabong has cliffs at its base, making it dangerous and currently off-limits.
Lunapol is a large-scale night digital theme park. Based on the story that 'people have wished upon the moon since ancient times, and the moon became heavy with many wishes and fell on Jeju,' it offers immersive experience content enjoyed while walking along the night path. Lunapol consists of a total of nine experience zones decorated with realistic media technologies such as media art and holograms. It richly recreates the Lunapol world, including Luna Village, the lunar tribe called Lunarian, and the Lunarian language used by the tribe, enhancing immersion. The Lunapol fantasy, which combines its unique world, Jeju’s pristine nature, and top-tier realistic media technology, includes unpaved forest paths within the natural protected area called Gotjawal, so caution is advised on some routes; safe and comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended.
