Shinpung Sincheon Sea Ranch offers an open sea view and is located along Jeju Olle Trail Course 3. It used to be land owned by residents where horses, cows, and other livestock were allowed to graze, but now the ranch functions no longer exist. Since the 1980s, it has been used as a drying yard by pouring tangerine peels every year. The sight of the wide area covered with orange tangerine peels has become a spectacular attraction for tourists. This ranch, with its expansive grassland and wide ocean vista, is a beloved section among Olle trail walkers.
Pyoseon Beach is a flat sandy beach with very fine sand and almost no slope. It was formed by the transportation and deposition of shell fragments along the coast by coastal currents. Along the eastern coastline, there are dune layers 2–3 meters high, containing shell middens. At high tide, most of the sandy beach is submerged. Although relatively short in length, it is the widest beach on the island with a width of 313 meters and a gentle slope. The wide sandy beach looks like a round white sand beach at low tide and an emerald-colored circular lake with shallow water at high tide, creating a beautiful landscape. Moreover, its shallow waters make it ideal for children to enjoy water activities. Facilities such as a campground, parking lot, restrooms, changing rooms, and showers are available. It is located 100 meters from the Jeju Folk Village Museum and near many other tourist attractions including Seongeup Folk Village, Namwon Keuneong, Seopjikoji, and Shinyoung Jeju Film Museum. It is also the endpoint of Jeju Olle Trail Course 3 and the starting point of Course 4, attracting many visitors.
