Janghang Songnim Natural Recreation Forest features dense pine trees along 1.5 km of coastline, offering a serene place for a stroll throughout the year. Various flowers inhabit the walking path, notably the violet Liriope flowers that bloom in August and September, adding charm. The forest was originally planted as a windbreak against sea breezes in 1954 by students of Janghang Agricultural High School (currently Janghang Technical High School), who planted 2-year-old Korean red pines (Gomsong). Today, approximately 12,000 Gomsong (haesong) trees grow naturally. It was designated a National Forest Cultural Asset by the Korea Forest Service in 2019 and became a natural recreation forest in 2021.

Pangyo, Time-Stopped Village, is a village that, true to its name, shows a landscape where time seems to have stopped long ago. This village began to attract many residents when the Janghang Line Pangyo Station opened in 1930 and was once counted as one of Chungnam's three major livestock markets. However, with intensified rural-to-urban migration and the relocation of Pangyo Station due to the Janghang Line straightening in 2008, development slowed and the area became less populated. As a result, old buildings such as the old Pangyo livestock market street, Dongil Brewery, the Japanese-style Rose Photo Studio, and Pangyo Theater remain preserved, giving visitors a feeling of stepping back in time. The site where Pangyo Station stood until 2008 has been transformed into the Pangyo Specialty Food Village, featuring a stamp tour that allows visitors to see the main buildings in order for an enjoyable travel experience. Nearby are the Pangyo traditional market and the relocated new Pangyo Station, making the area easily accessible by public transportation.
