Gudeok Culture Park is located in the forest of Gudeoksan, Seodaesin-dong, Seo-gu, Busan. The sound of a small waterfall and the beautifully and refreshingly spraying fountain allow visitors to fully enjoy the natural atmosphere deep in their hearts. This park has an educational history center, a folk life hall showcasing the surrounding lush forest scenery, and a wood and stone horticulture center with greenhouse plants coexisting with nature. It is a natural ecological cultural space with various exhibition halls, a waterfall, pond, flower paths, and walking trails. Notably, this area of Gudeok Culture Park was visited by 40 spouses of CEOs from member countries during the CEO Summit of the 2005 APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) summit in November.

Naewonjeongsa is an urban temple located at the foothills of Gudeoksan, designated as a traditional temple of Busan Metropolitan City. Since its founding, over approximately 10 years until 1983, it underwent the first phase of construction, creating 12 temple buildings including the main Buddha Hall, Gwaneum Hall, monks' quarters, and bell tower in traditional wooden architecture. In 1985, during the second phase, a Buddhist kindergarten was established. In 1990, the third phase led to the construction of the Manbuljeon Hall. Naewonjeongsa Manbuljeon serves as a hall for Buddhist assemblies accommodating the increasing number of worshippers and is a modernized monks' quarters equipped with contemporary systems for efficient temple management. The designated cultural heritage at Naewonjeongsa includes the Naewonjeongsa collection of the Lotus Sutra (Myobeop Yeonhwagyeong).

Seunghaksan is the mountain behind Dangni-dong, located west of Gudeoksan and Siyaksan. The summit of Seunghaksan marks the boundary between Saha-gu and Sasang-gu. According to legend, during the late Goryeo period, Buddhist monk Muhak Daesa traveled throughout the country to observe mountain formations. Upon reaching this mountain, he noted its stern terrain and lofty spirit, likening it to a flying crane, hence the name Seunghaksan. The silver grass at the summit is famously beautiful and a highlight for autumn hiking, attracting many hikers. Major attractions include the silver grass fields, Jeseokgol Forest Park, hinoki cypress forest, cedar meditation healing forest, meteorological observatory, sports facilities, observation deck, stage facilities, and forest roads. There are various hiking routes on Seunghaksan, with a popular course starting behind Dong-A University, passing the summit, and going to Sujeongsan via Seodaesin-dong Flower Village, offering excellent views of Busan city.
