Jeungsan Beach is a quiet and cozy beach located about 4 km from Samcheok city center. With an average depth of about 1 meter, it is safe for water activities. From here, you can enjoy a full view of Chotdaebawi Rock in Donghae City, famous for its sunrise, which borders this area. Next to the beach is Surubuin Park (Haegasateo), where a dragon ball restored based on the 'Haega' legend from the Samguk Yusa is installed; visitors rotate the ball to wish for hope and love, making it a new type of tourist attraction. In winter, the beach offers the romance and charm of the winter sea mingled with flocks of seagulls. Although fewer summer vacationers visit compared to other beaches, it is a popular spot for car camping, attracting many families who come to see the green emerald sea. It is a beloved beach that visitors often return to.

Located in the Daeiri cave area of Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do, Daegum Cave was formed around the same time as the nearby Hwansun Cave and Gwaneum Cave. After 4 years of discovery and 3 years of facility installation, it opened to the public following a total of 7 years of preparation. Inside the cave, well-developed formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, and pillars can be seen. Notably, underground waters of unknown origin flow, creating several large and small waterfalls and cave lakes. The terrain is part of the Joseon Supergroup sedimentary rocks from the Lower Paleozoic (Cambrian to Ordovician), featuring Pungchon and Daegi layers. These formations, originally deposited as coral reefs in a tropical deep sea, reached their current location through tectonic shifts and long-term erosion formed the cave. Access to Daegum Cave is only by monorail, and reservations must be made online at least one day in advance.

Jukseoru (National Treasure), located on the cliff of the Osipcheon River, is a representative pavilion of Korea. It was rebuilt on the old site by Kim Hyoson, the magistrate of Samcheok, in the 3rd year of King Taejong of Joseon (1403). Since then, it has been repaired or painted multiple times, with some expansions leading to its present form. The lower floor consists of 17 pillars; among them, 9 are set on natural stones, and the remaining 8 are placed on stone foundations (seokcho, carved base stones), combining architectural significance and beauty. The upper floor has 20 pillars, and the roof follows the traditional octagonal hip-and-gable style.
