Amisan Observatory is a place where you can overlook the point where the Nakdong River and the sea meet as one, experiencing a fantastic atmosphere. You can see the unique sandbars characteristic of the Nakdong River estuary at a glance, as well as the beautiful combination of golden sunset and kites (birds). The observatory consists of a first-floor information desk and seminar room, a second-floor exhibition hall, and a third-floor indoor observatory and cafeteria. The exhibition hall is organized by themes and explains questions about the Nakdong River estuary well. The scenery of the Nakdong River estuary, its ecosystem, delta formation process, nearby ecological parks, and tourist facility information satisfy visitors' curiosity. On the third floor indoor observatory, telescopes are installed to examine the Nakdong River estuary in detail. The sandbars such as Doyodeung, Sinjado, Baekhapdeung, and Jangjado, formed by sediment carried by the river, are a spectacular sight. Their size is said to continuously change as they scatter and accumulate every day with the seawater and wind.
