Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center handles various tasks including estuary area environmental conservation and use, migratory bird habitat conservation and management, natural ecology exhibitions and education, and wildlife treatment and protection. It is located where the Nakdong River meets the sea, at Eulsukdo, a world-class migratory bird site. Eulsukdo is divided into the upper Eulsukdo Ecological Park and the lower Eulsukdo Migratory Bird Park. As the core area of the Nakdong River lower migratory bird habitat (Natural Monument) and a central axis of estuary ecotourism, it is the best place to observe winter migratory birds and the estuary wetland ecology. Nakdong River Estuary Eco Center not only runs its own programs but also manages the Wildlife Treatment Center, Exploration Experience Center, and Amisan Observatory, displaying human and ecological information of the Nakdong River estuary in an easy-to-understand way and offering various experience programs.

In 2014, it was selected as one of South Korea's five major coastal trails by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and in 2021 it was also designated as a safe travel destination by Busan.
