Elephant Rock at Namildae, counted as one of Sacheon's 9 scenic spots, is a strangely shaped rock that looks like an elephant drinking water from the sea with its trunk. Adjacent to Namildae Beach, it is one of the sights you can see while touring nearby attractions. This rock is a sea erosion arch protruding into the sea, located at the end of the coastal erosion cliff, about a 10-minute walk from Namildae Beach, which is situated in a bay deeply indented by the sea. It can be viewed by taking a cruise from the sea side, but walking there allows you to admire Elephant Rock up close. The walking path from the beach to Elephant Rock is well maintained along the coastal cliffs.
