Introduction

포항송도해변은 예로부터 은빛 모래와 주위의 우거진 소나무 숲으로 둘러싸인 천혜의 자연조건이 좋은 이름난 해변이었지만, 공단 설립과 일부 백사장 유실로 지금은 폭 10~40m의 사장 1,700m 정도이다. 도심권에 위치하여 이용이 편리하며, 음악회 등 행사를 진행하기도 한다. 1983년 국민관광지로 지정되었고, 해수욕은 할 수 없으며 산책 장소로 이용할 수 있다.
