Ire Sikdang is located near Nambu Elementary School Ijak Branch when entering the village along the coastline from Daijakdo Ferry Terminal. It is one of two restaurants on Daijakdo. About a 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk away, Ire Sikdang is a restaurant attached as an amenity to a pension. This restaurant, with its bright beige brick building, impresses with dishes prepared by a skilled owner like home-cooked meals. The fresh sashimi, sliced from fish caught by fishing, is abundant and fresh, and the accompanying spicy fish stew offers a satisfying meal. For a lighter meal, you can choose yukgaejang, clam kalguksu, or ugeojigalbitang. The secret to the highly recommended food by repeat customers is that the owner sets the table exactly as if for herself. For groups, ordering in advance by phone allows meals to be prepared according to travel schedules. The clean open kitchen restaurant has wooden tables lined up to accommodate dozens of guests with ease. Inside the restaurant, there is also a small kiosk selling ice cream and simple snacks. Outdoors, tables and chairs on a deck provide a place to rest.
Nearby sights and easy walks are shown first so the meal can become part of a route.
