Baengnyeongdo is an island located at the northernmost part of the West Sea, preserving natural scenic beauty and nature. It is home to Sagot Beach, one of only two natural airfields in the world, the pebble-strewn Kongdol Coast, Simcheonggak which holds the tale of Simcheong, and Dumoogin, regarded as Baengnyeongdo’s finest scenic spot. Each destination is indispensable for travelers. Although it takes about five hours just to get there because of its remoteness, the deep memories remain in your heart when leaving the island.
