Introduction

Haetdarae Village is a place where four villages—Hyeon 2-ri, Dochon-ri, Yulti-ri, and Woloe-ri—come together in Annae-myeon, Okcheon-gun, Chungcheongbuk-do. The term 'Haet' in Haetdarae means 'of the current year,' symbolizing beginning and the sun, while 'Darae' comes from the name Daraegol, derived from the many taboo trees around the village mountain. This place holds the greatest forest resources and is a village with a heart to protect and pass on the most natural and primitive beauty of the forest to future generations. In an increasingly harsh and materialistic world, someone wishes to preserve that naturalness and pass it on, and Haetdarae Village, reborn as an agricultural and fishing village character school, aims to convey this to growing children. Haetdarae Village, which preserves the beauty of the forest given by nature, offers a variety of sensory-rich year-round experience programs with forest experts, as well as comfortable and cozy amenities. It is a space where visitors can let go of accumulated daily stress and find peace for both body and mind while enjoying nature with family or loved ones. Visiting Haetdarae Village guides one to feel, see, and breathe nature without any stress. Nature silently tells us that humans must live in harmony with it.
