Hwanggeumsan Cultural Park is an urban hidden park and natural recreation forest located at the entrance of the Hwanggeumsan mountain trail at an elevation of 128.6m. Starting from the Hwanggol spring, the park consists of a total of 17 special points including a parking lot, forest walking paths, forest experience sites, and ecological ponds. The well-maintained lawn and wooden deck walking paths are suitable for people of all ages. The park connects six hiking trails to Hwanggeumsan, each taking about 40 minutes to 1 hour round trip. The gentle slopes are great for a light walk, and from the summit, visitors can view the Olympic Bridge and Lotte Tower in the distance. The toddler forest experience center at the entrance offers various programs for local childcare facilities and families. As the number of visitors increases annually, there have been continuous requests to expand the experience area, and the city has decided to create a forest experience space where various age groups can heal together.
