Located around Manhakdong Valley in Maechon village at the foot of Boryeonsan Mountain in Namwon-si, a large wild tea community was discovered, leading Maewoldang to develop a Goryeo-style tea form to continue the tradition of Namwon tea. Maewoldang harvests wild green tea and produces fermented green tea through traditional roasting and drying methods. Visitors can also experience tea ceremonies in a thatched-roof gazebo made of reeds harmonizing with traditional green tea aromas. Additionally, it is an attractive space that promotes the excellence of Korean traditional tea culture through opportunities to experience it in a pristine natural environment.
