Located in Seosan-dong, Mokpo, Yeonhee's Supermarket is a small neighborhood store of about 18㎡ that preserves the look of the 1980s. This place was a filming location for the movie , which depicts the June Democratic Uprising of 1987, and it was the house where Yeonhee, a college freshman, lived with her mother and maternal uncle. Searching for a place that retains the appearance of the 1980s, this site nestled in a narrow alley in Seosan-dong, Mokpo, was chosen as a main filming location. Inside Yeonhee's Supermarket, the interior has been faithfully recreated to match the movie 1987 scenes, allowing visitors to recall moments from the film. Additionally, snacks and daily necessities sold in the 1980s such as sugar candy, twisted doughnuts, gum, briquettes, and a newspaper issued in 1987 are displayed.
Mokpo Port opened in October 1897 and has a history of over 100 years as a domestic trade port. It is divided into the Inner Port and the North Port, each specialized by function. The Inner Port mainly consists of a passenger-only port and a cargo-only port on Samhakdo, while the North Port is developed exclusively for seafood. The passenger port is separated into an international passenger terminal and a domestic passenger terminal, with the international terminal mainly serving ferries to Jeju Island. Currently, Mokpo Port operates 24 general routes and 11 auxiliary routes. It handles about 13,000 passengers daily and serves as a gateway to islands such as Jeju, Hongdo, and Heuksando. Historically, Mokpo Port was a strategic base where powerful nations' ships gathered amid late Joseon Dynasty foreign concessions conflicts, and it also served as a gateway for missionaries delivering new knowledge and modern culture.

Samhakdo is a peninsula located in Mokpo City. There is a legend that long ago, three women who loved a young man from Yudalsan Mountain died while waiting for him and were reincarnated as three cranes. A warrior, unaware of this, shot arrows at the three cranes, hitting them and causing them to fall into the sea in front of Yudalsan Mountain and die, and three peaks rose in their place. Originally, Samhakdo was an island that supplied firewood to Mokpojin, but due to land reclamation in the sea in front of Mokpo, it became land. However, the landscape was damaged by reclamation and the construction of factories and a port. It was once a famous scenic site representing Mokpo alongside Yudalsan Mountain, but now its former appearance can no longer be seen. Currently, there is a Children's Sea Science Museum, Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial Hall, a mini golf course, and a yacht marina where visitors can enjoy sightseeing and sports. There are also walking paths along the park and charming night views to enjoy.
