Wolyeonjeong was built by scholar Yi Tae of Wolyeon in the 15th year of King Jungjong's reign during the Joseon Dynasty (1520) and was originally the site of Wolyeongsa. Yi Tae was a Joseon mid-era civil official who, after the literati faction advocating Neo-Confucian reforms was purged in the Gimyo Sahwa (1519), gave up his position and retired here. The main hall of Wolyeonjeong, Ssang-gyeongdang, was burned down during the Imjin War but was rebuilt in the 33rd year of King Yeongjo (1757) by Yi Ji-bok of Wolam. In the 3rd year of King Gojong's reign (1866), Yi Jong-sang and Yi Jong-jeung repaired Wolyeondae near the pavilion and built Jaehun. Wolyeonjeong features a front of 5 kan and side of 2 kan with a hipped-and-gabled roof in the shape of the character '팔' (eight). Ssang-gyeongdang has doors that open to view the surrounding scenery and includes a room and fireplace to allow year-round residence. Jaehun is also 5 kan wide and 2 kan deep, arranged as a hall-room-hall. Wolyeondae, on the highest hill, is 3 kan by 3 kan with a room in the center having sliding doors on all four sides. All these buildings gathered in a scenic place serve the function of a pavilion for enjoying the surrounding beauty, each built in different styles, making them interesting. In addition to these structures, there are historic sites like Tangeumam and Ssangcheon Bridge, and rare trees such as baeksong (white pine) and ojuk (black bamboo).

Miryang Yongpyeong Tunnel is located where the Gyeongbu Line railroad passed in 1905. A new tunnel was constructed under the mountain, so trains no longer run here. Now cars drive on the old railway path, but the tunnel is narrow enough for only one vehicle, so you must check for oncoming traffic before entering. For safety, an entry control signal system is provided at the entrance. Although short, this tunnel is popular as a unique drive course that preserves a long history. Since vehicle traffic is not heavy, photography inside the tunnel is possible. A notable photo zone is the open space in the middle of the tunnel, where the marks of time and the dense trees that almost cover the sky create a mystical atmosphere.
