The Korean Traditional Liquor Research Institute is a place that shares new awareness and spirit about our traditional liquors, aiming not only to popularize but also to globalize Korea's traditional liquors. It is the nation's first educational training institution where one can learn and master traditional liquor and distilling techniques, targeting thousands of years of history, tradition, uniqueness, and distinctiveness. Using only natural ingredients like rice, traditional nuruk, water, flowers, and medicinal herbs, without any artificial sweeteners or food additives, it teaches natural fermentation distilling techniques. With 30 years of accumulated experience in traditional liquor research, the institute boasts the best instructors and educational system. It offers diverse and differentiated distilling technique education, including methods for making cheongju with rice wine, porridges, and rice cakes; flower-flavored aromatic liquor; and traditional soju production and application. Visitors can experience the smooth taste and beautiful aroma of Korean liquors made by traditional methods.
