Walking along the path that follows the Seoul City Wall, you will encounter Inwangsa, an old temple on the foothills of Inwangsan. After visiting Inwangsa, follow Jeongdong-gil. 1974년 완공 이후 여러 차례 증축을 통해 현재 1,700석 규모의 강당으로 되어 있으며, 이화인의 시작과 끝인 입학식과 졸업식이 이곳에서 거행된다. 또한, 유관순 상 시상식을 비롯한 각종 행사가 이곳에서 열린다. 유관순 열사는 1904년 충남 천안 출신으로 1966년 기독교 가리교 충청도 교구 본부의 미국인 여자 선교사의 소개로 이화학당 교비생으로 입학하였다. 재학 중 1919년 3.1운동으로 학교가 폐쇄되자 고향으로 돌아와 독립만세 시위를 계획하고 천안, 연기, 청주, 진천 등지의 학교와 교회를 찾아다니면서 시위를 협의하였다.
