Chongrim Seonwon, located on the slopes of Mangjin Mountain, one of the eight scenic views of Jinju, is surrounded by an earthen fortress site about 300 meters long and is situated below the beacon mound where signal fires were once lit, overlooking Jinju City. Although Chongrim Seonwon was established in the 1890s during the late Joseon Dynasty and has continued to the present, the exact founding date and founder are unknown. It is said that the daughter-in-law of a wealthy Jinju family prayed at the Maitreya Buddha beneath the current Chongrim Seonwon to have a son and, after succeeding, a Bodhisattva built the current temple. The temple knows this Bodhisattva as Yakong Bosal, though the precise history is not transmitted. After Yakong Bosal established Chongrim Seonwon, many people began visiting to pray for sons. The Mangjin Mountain area is home to many famous tourist sites such as the Mangjin Mountain Beacon Mound, Mangjin Mountain Urban Forest, Namgang Yudeung Exhibition Hall, Somangjinsan Lantern Theme Park, and Jinju Children's Museum.

Railroad Culture Park is a park created by utilizing the remaining railroad facilities and land after Jinju Station was relocated. It consists of the old Jinju Station vehicle maintenance depot, a multipurpose cultural facility, a complex community space, Mangkkongi Ecological Park, and an outdoor exhibition yard, forming a space where the past and present coexist. The Ilho Square Jinju Station within the park is a place that recreates the appearance of the old Jinju Station. Various exhibitions are held to experience Jinju's unique old emotions through the history of Jinju Station and its used items, photos, and records.

Mulbitnaru Rest Area is the dock where the Namgang cruise ship Kim Si-min departs. It consists of a cafe, ticket office, observatory, and dock, and the scenery of Namgang viewed from the interior of the building made of glass provides a place to enjoy healing and leisurely time. Mulbitnaru Rest Area is located on the riverside edge within the Somangjinsan Lantern Theme Park, and the Jinju Namgang Lantern Exhibition Hall is also nearby. Mulbitnaru Rest Area can be regarded as a modern reinterpretation of Chokseokru, a symbol of Jinju, integrating place and historicity. The curved roof, pillars, and dapo style of Chokseokru were redesigned in a modern way, and it was designed by Kim Jae-gyeong, a professor at Hanyang University's Department of Architecture. The front is finished with glass, allowing appreciation of the interior design from outside. Meanwhile, the Kim Si-min ship departing from Mulbitnaru Rest Area is made in the form of a traditional pavilion boat to embody the meaning of boating on the Namgang River in Jinju. The route is about 3 km, starting from Mulbitnaru Rest Area Mangjin Dock, circulating under Chokseokmun of Jinju Fortress to Chokseok Dock, and cruising on Namgang for about 30 minutes, allowing passengers to enjoy the beautiful view of Jinju Fortress from Namgang.

Somangjinsan Lantern Park is a park themed around lanterns, which are blossoming into a world-renowned festival, offering a rich atmosphere of history and culture with views of the Namgang River and Jinju Fortress. The park features Mulbit Naru Rest Area, Kim Si-min Ferry Dock, Lantern Garden, Lantern Exhibition Hall, Somang Deck, Lawn Plaza, Pavilion Tree Rest Area, and Observatory Rest Area (Mugunghwa Garden), situated in a scenic location overlooking the Namgang River. At the topmost observatory rest area, various types of Mugunghwa flowers are cultivated, allowing visitors to enjoy many kinds of the national flower, Mugunghwa. It offers excellent views of the Namgang riverside scenery and serves as a leisure space for citizens. Especially at night, the park is illuminated by numerous lanterns, creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere.

Somangjinsan Lantern Theme Park was created to display the history and culture of the Namgang River and Jinjuseong Fortress through lanterns, the focal point of the Jinju Namgang Yudeung Festival. The rooftop rest area offers amazing views of the Namgang River, as well as a variety of Rose of Sharon species, the national flower of Korea.
