Gwanghyewon Market is a market that formed naturally around the roads in the Gwanghyewon-myeon area. It was the most active market in Jincheon but declined with the opening of the Gyeongbu Line railway, and continued to survive in Jincheon Eupnae before being reorganized in 1976 by gathering scattered street vendors into one market. Vendor stalls line the road, appearing broken yet connected, selling various foods and fresh produce typical of rural markets. The market opens on the 3rd, 8th, 13th, 18th, 23rd, and 28th of each month, offering vegetables and fruits grown by the sellers, grains, meat, and daily necessities. Particularly, agricultural products like chili peppers and oriental melons, ornamental fish, and roses, which are specialties of Jincheon-gun, are mainly traded.
