Unilam and Banilam are approximately 5km-long valleys located upstream of Jujacheon in Jucheon-myeon, Jinan-gun. They lie between Myeongdeokbong and Myeongdobong on the northeast side of Unjangsan. This area features a scenic harmony of rugged rocky cliffs and clear jade-like water, creating a magnificent natural landscape where visitors can feel the mystery of nature. 'Unilam' means a deep and steep gorge where only the sky, rocks, trees, and clouds come together, and 'Banilam' is named for the valley where sunlight shines only for half a day. Giant rocks such as Yongsobawi, Jjokduribawi, and Daebulbawi line the valley, with cool spring water flowing through waterfalls and pools. This area is a renowned scenic spot that showcases the pinnacle of natural harmony and attracts many tourists.
