Uhwa Pavilion is a pavilion in a pond at the entrance of Naejangsan National Park, named after the legend that it grew wings and ascended to heaven. The scenery of red autumn leaves reflected in the mirror-like clear lake resembles a watercolor painting. Around the lake are spectacular clusters of Dangdanpung, weeping willows, aralia, wild cherry trees, forsythia, and cornelian cherries. A single tree of Bokjagi is particularly vivid crimson, contributing to the autumn atmosphere. In the clear pond of Uhwa Pavilion, a school of sweetfish, known to inhabit only first-grade water, leisurely swim. Stepping stones made of stones in various sizes and shapes add an old-fashioned charm. Nearby are Naejangsa, the cable car terminal, the autumn foliage train terminal, and the Naejangsan foliage tunnel. Naejangsan is famous for its autumn leaves. A circular bus runs year-round from Geumseongyo at the entrance of Naejangsan to in front of the cable car terminal, so parking at the Naejangsan parking lot and taking the shuttle bus provides easy access to Uhwa Pavilion.

Naejangsan Maple Ecological Park, created around Naejangho in Jeongeup-si, is planted with 11 species of native maple trees found in Korea along with various other trees. Especially notable is the maples called aegi danpung (baby maple), named for their leaves being as small as baby fingers, which display beautiful colors. The park features many maple-themed attractions including the Maple Experience Exhibition Hall, Seokgawon, Bonsaewon, Wetland, Maple Fairy Tale Forest, Maple Tunnel Road, and Hometown Garden. Seoraebong Peak of Naejangsan stands right before your eyes, adding to the scenic beauty; in November, the exquisite and embroidered-like autumn foliage is fantastic. Opened in 2015, the park hosts various experience programs and photography exhibitions annually from March to November.

산나물, 고사리나물, 취나물, 뽕잎, 더덕 등 자연이 선물한 풍부한 재료로 만들어지는 전라도 향토음식 산채정식이 있다. 명인관 산채비빔밥의 특징은 산채 정식에 표고버섯 매운탕이 추가되어 있다는 것이다.

Jeongeup, with a history so rich that tea is recorded as a local product in old literature, is a region with a long-standing tea culture. Among these, traditional teahouses serving ssanghwa tea have naturally formed along Saeam-ro. The deep flavor and health benefits of ssanghwa tea have gained attention, and this street has gradually expanded near the Jangmyeong-dong Community Service Center. Ssanghwa Tea Street still has teahouses specializing in ssanghwatang that have been in business for over 30 years, with about 40 small and large ssanghwatang teahouses operating actively. The teahouses located in alleys with a simple and cozy atmosphere carry the unique fragrance of ssanghwatang. The ssanghwa tea here is a proper traditional herbal decoction made with over 20 ingredients, including abundant medicinal herbs, chestnuts, ginger, jujube, cooked rehmannia root, and nuts.
