Seonhakdong Village is a village with incomparable character, where the most beautiful scenery in the southern Korean Peninsula harmonizes with poetic and natural environments and humanities. Located at the foot of Gwaneumbong Mountain, which looks like a crane flapping its wings from afar, Jangheung-gun's Seonhakdong Village blends rapeseed flowers in rice paddies and terraced fields with the blue sea of Deukryang Bay. In the warm spring, the village is covered with rapeseed flowers, and in autumn, the beautiful scenery of buckwheat flowers covering the village under clear winds and blue skies is well-known among photographers. In 2012, it was selected as the most beautiful agricultural and fishing village, and every October, a buckwheat flower festival is held led by village residents. Also, Seonhakdong is the setting for the novel "Seonhakdong Traveler" by the writer Lee Cheong-jun, who is from Jangheung. This novel was made into a film directed by Im Kwon-taek, titled , for which the village is famous as a filming location. The tavern built on the rapeseed flower-covered fields is where the main characters of Cheonnyeonhak met for the last time.

정남진 해양낚시공원은 장흥군이 해양 레저관광시대를 대비하여 전국 바다낚시의 명소로 잘 알려진 회진면 대리에 낚시교와 부잔교식낚시터, 육상낚시터, 콘도식낚시터 및 안내소, 파고라, 정자 등 낚시시설과 휴게시설을 갖추고 08년 10월에 개장한 전국 최초, 최대규모의 시설이다.

Located in Jangheung, south of Gwanghwamun in Seoul. It is a place where you can get a panoramic view of numerous islands such as Goheung Sorokdo, Wando, and Geumildo around Deukryang Bay. At night, you can enjoy a dazzling night view illuminated by colorful lights, and in the morning, you can admire the majestic sunrise rising between the islands. The observatory tower is 45.9m tall; the upper level represents the rising sun, the middle level the yellow sailboat, and the lower level the waves. Besides the observatory, there are various exhibition and experience spaces such as a book cafe, literary cinema, memory travel hall, festival hall, and story hall, allowing visitors to enjoy both sightseeing and relaxation.

Sumun Beach is a beach located southeast of Jangheung-eup. On both sides of the road to the beach, a fantastic palm tree road extends, allowing visitors to feel the atmosphere of the southern country. The sandy beach faces the wide sea of Deukryang Bay, a clean sea area of the South Sea, and the pine forest around the beach is lush, making it a quiet resort that helps summer vacationers relieve the heat. Since 2005, a tent village for accommodation has been created and operated around the beach so that family travelers can enjoy a different kind of summer vacation. Nearby the beach is Okseom Water Park, making lodging convenient.
