They cultivate birch, Korean spruce, manbyungcho, and sprout ginseng, and process and sell extracts from the cultivated medicinal herbs and trees. Educational experiences include manbyungcho experience, Korean spruce experience, birch experience, and soap making experience. Haetsal Village has a village-scale solar power plant, restores mountain areas to create an environment suitable for growing manbyungcho, and independently plants and manages birch and Korean spruce to form colonies.
