Muui Island is named because its shape resembles a general wearing a uniform and dancing. It is an island accessible by boat from Jamjin Port on Yongyu Island, featuring mountain ranges including Horyonggoksan and Guksabong. The island has Hanagae Beach and Silmi Beach, which was the filming location for the movie Silmido. Silmido Island, nearly connected to Muui Island, can be reached on foot when the tide is low. After exploring Muui Island, it is also nice to go out to Yongyu Island and watch a beautiful sunset at Eulwangri.
