In 2008, Songhyeon Market was selected as a cultural tourism market, leading to the installation of an arcade in the market alley and the paving of sidewalks with concrete blocks for a neat and clean feeling. Additionally, there is a nearby park where visitors can rest, making it a leisurely and cultural atmosphere unlike typical traditional markets. The name 'Songhyeon' comes from Solgogae.
