Yongchu Valley is a valley formed by the water flowing between the layered rock formations under Dubok Reservoir in the upper reaches of Gugocheon, originating from Baekryeonsan, a famous mountain in Imsil. Located between the reservoirs Yongchuje and Yongchu 2-je, Yongchu Valley was once a popular tourist spot with Yongchu Waterfall, Yongso (Dragon Pool), and a footprint said to be where a dragon rested when ascending to heaven before the reservoirs were constructed. Since the construction of Yongchuje, the flowing water has decreased and Yongso has been filled, so it is not like before, but during rain, the waterfall cascading from above still creates a magnificent view.
