Sinheung Neighborhood Park is a park created with a 2.1km circular trail centered around Sinheung Reservoir next to Jangjasan in Iksan-si. It is a representative healing space in the city that emits unique seasonal charms. In spring, plum blossoms and azaleas bloom beautifully, making it a great place to go on outings with children under the warm spring sunshine. Especially in autumn, there is a beautiful pink muhly garden loved by Iksan citizens. While pink muhly is famous, the chrysanthemum flowers in the Flower Wind Garden are also beautiful, with an annual chrysanthemum festival held every year. There are photo zones scattered throughout, where visitors can capture memorable shots and fully enjoy the healing feeling in the beautiful nature.

Jungang Sports Park in Iksan-si opened on April 21, 2002, to promote community sports activities and improve the fitness of local residents. Its main facilities include a soccer field, futsal field, basketball court, tennis court, and leisure spaces such as a fountain, artificial waterfall, fitness equipment, and walking trails. Especially notable is the park's famous music fountain, which harmonizes beautifully with the surroundings. It sprays water jets of various colors at multiple angles, such as straight and curved lines, making it seem like performing with an orchestra. Sports facilities can be reserved through the Iksan City integrated reservation system website, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy throughout all seasons.

Inside Yeongdeung Citizen's Park in Iksan City, there is a large mound-shaped hillock known as the Yeongdeung-dong Site, which was designated as a local historic site of Iksan City on May 30, 2002. The Yeongdeung-dong Site was discovered during residential land development, and an excavation was conducted by Wonkwang University's Mahan-Baekje Culture Research Institute from 1995 to 1996. According to the findings, there are five house sites: three rectangular and two circular from the Bronze Age. Among these, one rectangular house site was originally at the Yeongdeung-dong Site, while the other four were relocated from nearby areas. The Yeongdeung-dong Site is the first early Bronze Age site confirmed in the Iksan area and includes a chief's tomb from the Mahan period, allowing the study of the Bronze Age culture lineage in Iksan and the verification of Mahan period culture.
