Jisuntaek Kiln | Attraction Guide | K-Travel Mate

This kiln, established by the late Mr. Jisuntaek who was designated as a cultural asset by Gyeonggi-do, is characterized by facilities divided into shaping rooms, carving rooms, drying rooms, and kilns where visitors can directly observe the actual ceramic manufacturing process. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various wooden dolls and masks with shamanistic purposes exhibited in the separate Doamdang room. Currently, Mr. Jisuntaek's eldest son, Jisugu, continues the tradition. Since there may be days without ceramic production, it is recommended to contact in advance if you wish to see the manufacturing process. Quiet behavior is requested during the viewing, as the process is open to the public.
