Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum is a 250,000 square meter arboretum located on the slope of Dongmaekisan, combining both an arboretum and dinosaur themes. Opened in 2016, it offers unlimited imagination and fun for children and serves as a new-concept family theme park arboretum where adults can find a pause in their busy lives. Of the 250,000 square meters, 130,000 remain undeveloped in their natural state, serving as a forest bathing area for refreshment. The rest of the space features dinosaurs as the main theme, providing fun and memories for children and families. The dinosaur theme hall continuously screens 3D dinosaur movies, and there are many attractions including a greenhouse garden and hands-on programs for children. Additionally, the insect-themed exhibition hall offers an educational experience viewing fascinating insect life, and the animal family village provides feeding experiences for interaction with animals.
